We all need a group around us who can encourage, but what if that group could also help empower our journey? Not just a friendly, cosy club nor an academic theological study group, instead Growth Groups are more like fertiliser on a plant! In practise groups meet weekly or fortnightly with no more than 8 or 10 people. In the sessions there is prayer for each other, study around a particular tool or theme or Bible passage and also times of just relaxing and eating together! We seek to answer the key questions – What is God saying to us? What are we going to do about it? Individuals are encouraged to meet outside the groups in twos and threes to dig deeper into the answers and work out exactly what it means in practise.
